I’m leaving Tumblr.

I may or may not come back. Or I might move to Wordpress. Who knows?

I just know I’m not going to blog for a long while.

You can all unfollow me now.

I’m still here.

I’m still here.

I’m not very artsy fartsy but this is going to be my new little project. Hope it turns out well.

I don’t always wear dresses but when I do, I make sure there’s evidence. :D

Spent my Friday night in a hole in a wall called Good Burgers. Veeeeeery original name, I know. As someone who writes copy for ads, it bothers me. But I learned a long time ago not to judge things from names or appearances. Sure, it may sound mediocre, but you’ll be surprised.

So what will it be? You can choose from either chicken patty or vegetable patty (whut?!). You can also have your burger in 3 sizes: Good, Better and Best. The food will be prepared as your order, so you get to enjoy it fresh. The cheapest burger is 70 pesos. Not bad, right?

I ordered a better-sized Bacon Mozza Melt (120 pesos) and regular wedges (40 pesos). The wedges were fine (Anything made with potatoes are!), just wished there were more. The burger looks unattractive and even small but it’s worth the price, know why? It’s one of those burgers that have more patty than buns. And the patty itself is, what’s the word?….SUCCULENT. It, together with the mozzarella and bacon bits, made a hearty meal. So yeah, they really weren’t joking about their burgers being good.

I enjoyed dinner with my thesis partner/colleague, Dboi (I’m just gonna start giving my friends code names now.)

If you’re both hungry and looking to pass the time, give this tiny, modest place a try. Good Burgers can be found on 24 West Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo.

Lately, I’ve been lacking the passion to do anything. My work’s getting sloppier, I’ve stopped writing poems on a weekly basis, I always seem to lose the energy to travel…It’s like a big great vacuum showed up and sucked all of the enthusiasm out of me. The sad part is, this isn’t the first time this happened.

Why do I always have this phase? Is it normal to feel this in your 20’s? ‘Cause I want out then. It’s poisonous. One day, this empty lifeless shell will be the end of me.

I will be honest in saying I don’t always feel proud of being Filipino. Fortunately, today is not one of those days.
Happy Independence Day! :)
